The chickens have hatched and are about to leave the coop!!!

Both Gary and I have fond memories of when you all first showed up to the GTS Kick off almost 6 months ago. We went over all the equipment, injuries and mileage you would cover. All of you had this blank stare...like deer in headlights....
We told you you would be doing 2 miles that first day, and then adding 2 miles every week....more blank stares.
We are now on the weekend of your last GTS (for this event at least) and you are overwhelmed with the fact that we are telling you to taper down and only do 5! We have watched all of you become runners and are proud to have been able to lead you there.
Next week you will be crossing the finish line. Holding your head up high and knowing that your training and fundraising has not only changed your life but the life of a cancer patient. I hope that you have made some life long friends and we continue to see you every Saturday at GTS's.
Please remember that while your race is here we still have many more training for upcoming races. So, help me in supporting them to the finish.

Congratulation again,
GEAUX TEAM

Your Coaches
